Get Up and Goals proposed a journey through world history with an alternative, non-Eurocentric perspective. A geo-history textbook was developed and translated in 12 languages, ready to use by history teachers throughout Europe. Integrating 30 geo-historical maps, and engaging classroom materials, the textbook enables young people to look at the world with fresh eyes. With a global approach, the manual analyses the historical developments that have caused most of the problems we are now tackling through the SDGs – such as international economic inequality, the status of women, migration, and climate and environmental crises.

But teachers should not be left alone in this journey. Get Up and Goals also helped schools and their staff to systematically include Global Citizenship Education across the curriculum with the School guidance manual.
