With an advocacy effort targeting unethical multinational corporations, the project Make  ICT Fair showed how our addiction to technology has an impact on people and the planet. 

The project led to over 14 000 young people becoming more environmentally and socially conscious of the impact of their communication devices. 

Make ICT Fair also inspired some public administrations on socially responsible public procurement. For example, the Association of Catalan Municipalities, Metropolitan Transports Municipalities, and Generalitat de Catalunya choose ethical technology for their offices. Together, they pledged to ensure that their further procurement of electronics is from just and sustainable technology companies.
