The Romanian County of Iași integrated the Agenda 2030 into its work thanks to Shaping Fair Cities. Some SDGs such as gender equality (SDG 5), have become a top priority for the county. Concretely, it has invested more funds to counter gender-based violence and empower women, including through the Community Safety and Mediation Center.
