Culture for Peer Learning
Affecting learning /2

A learner-centred method,  connecting students with their peers in the Global South was key for the Culture for Peer Learning project. Cultural peer-to-peer learning relies on young artist groups from the Global South presenting their view of poverty, climate change, war and other issues. They led workshops in which they connected with their peers in the Global South on global topics and the SDGs.

Culture for Peer Learning enabled 138 high schools across Europe to integrate this approach to learning.

The German UNESCO Commission together with the German Federal Ministry of Education are developing a proposal to integrate the Culture for Peer Learning methodology into formal education in Germany within the “Orientation framework for global development”.
