Recognize&Change
Affecting learning /1

Recognize&Change developed educational resources that influenced life in and outside the classroom. The project’s nonformal education methodology – called “empowerment peer education” –  helped build awareness on issues such as identity, discrimination, and violence.

As an example, a new citizenship project involved school teachers across Greece to encourage young people to challenge their own perspectives. In Romania, schools used Recognize&Change’s anti-bullying manual to counter the growing problem.

Students participating in peer learning workshops and events were around 28,000 across Europe, almost double than planned.
