What is it about?

“NOPLANETB” developed knowledge and critical understanding on global interdependencies among EU citizens. The project created a sense of co-responsibility of European society for climate change. It focused on engaging small and medium-sized CSOs in effective actions to combat climate change and support sustainable living.

What changes does this project inspire?

“NOPLANETB” created a network of civil society organisations (CSOs) working on raising awareness about climate change. Nearly 100 CSOs from six EU Member States took actions contributing to SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Network members, with over 400 participants, exchanged good practices and launched 20 national-level joint actions.
“NOPLANETB” also generated considerable interest among small and medium sized CSOs, with 480 applying for project funding. Nearly 130 CSOs won financial support to campaign and advocate for sustainable living to fight climate change.
