Citizens for Financial Justice

Project complete, from September 2017 to December 2020

What is it about?

Many civil society organisations (CSOs) in Europe lack the human and campaigning resources to scale up their work. Some lack experience in campaigning at the EU level or knowledge of Financing for Development.
“Citizens for Financial Justice” improved the capacity of CSOs across the EU to raise awareness of development finance issues, engage in development education activities and undertake advocacy and campaigning on Financing for Development.

What changes does this project inspire?

Civil society organisations across the EU significantly increased and improved their capacity to raise awareness, to engage people through development education, and to advocate and campaign on Financing for Development. European citizens are better informed about the reforms needed to increase the quantity, and improve the quality, of financing for development.
